All standard sessions are cancelled until further notice, and we will update as we know more. However, members are currently able to access our coaches help and advice here on MyClubhouse via the forums, as well as on our Social Media feeds, where we are also running a number of Virtual Training Sessions. Group Ride\u0027s are also taking place Virtually using the Zwift platform. This will also help prevent running injuries that can occur through poor form. \nThe session is focused on improving technique and efficiency. It is the perfect complement to normal distance based run training.\nIt will be of equal benefit to all abilities and benefit you regardless of preferred race distance.\nNone of the drills are difficult or complicated. The coaches will explain and demonstrate each drill and the relevance before you have a chance to practice the drill. There will also be included around 30 mins in total of running to allow the drills to be incorporated into your running style.\nThe sessions will follow broadly the same format each week and over a fairly short period you will start to feel significant improvements in the way you run and how your running feels. The aim is to complement other run training \n All sessions with be Covid 19 compliant. You will not be able to join the session unless you have signed up via Clubhouse and can meet the requirements on the night. \n- Particpants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.\n- Participants should meet by the wooden picnic tables on the grass outside the front entrance so as not to block access for other users.\n- The maximum number of participants is 8.\n-- Running will be off “feel” so you do not need to use a Garmin or watch of any type. \n- Please bring your own water bottle and High Viz clothing is possible. \n- Social distancing must be maintained at all times. \n- A briefing will be held 10 minutes before the start of the session if you are not present at the briefing you will not be able to attend.\nWho the Sessions are for\nAll inclusive session that will be of benefit to both new and experienced runners targeted at improving your running form and efficiency. This is fundamental to making you a stronger faster runner. \nThe sessions are about developing good technique and so efficiency. You will quickly start to develop good running form. The main work will be done on a good flat surface. The session format will be\nProgressive warm up – 15 mins\nDrills learning and practice – 30 mins\nSteady run to incorporate the drills learning 15 mins\nFor the drills we will have 5 or 6 specific drills. You will practice the technique over around 50 metres and then jog back. You will then run the same 50m as an opportunity to start to incorporate the technique and walk back to recover.\nWe will do this three times for each drill. This means 15 or 18 opportunities to practice the drills and 15 or 18 opportunities to incorporate it.
